So, one day I was watching the cars stream south along the interstate, watching the pecans grow on the pecan tree, watching the dog scratch her derriere, watching the clouds scurry through the sunlit Florida sky and suddenly I was lost in time and space. So I called my old friend Bob, also known as Robert J. Running (the creator of www.virtualkiev.com ) who lives in Cincinnati because of something he either did or did not do in a past life.  I said “hey Bob’ I am lost in time and space, what the hell is life composed of ?” “stuff” says he. I was awestruck that I could get this much information out of Bob since he is a man of few words. I had a ZEN explosion of awareness !! Just then the heavens opened up and the MOERAE jumped down from mounting Olympus and landed with three distinct but separate thuds. Not a bit shy, they helped themselves to a rather large portion of my cheap wine and undressed me with their eyes, and just as quickly redressed me.  Two of three girls began this litany about how they will join me in polygamous ecstasy if I would get a job so they would never again have to run out of cheap wine and patchouli oil. Not one to mess with the Fates, especially three nubile and sensuous ones, I made a decision right on the spot.

     The very next morning after having helped the girls find various misplaced articles of clothing, I sent them on their way back to heaven and sold my car to an itinerant Frame Maker who was passing through town.  I read the note Clothos left me. “Go east young man to seek thy destiny.  See you for dinner Thursday.  P.S. can you buy asti spumante next time?” Taking that as a sign, inasmuch as a note can be a sign, I strapped my computer to my back, kissed the dog goodbye, made a pizza sandwich and set out for the high tech city of Winter Haven to seek my fortune.
